What is Lomi Lomi?

Heartworks lomi lomi is an ancient style of Hawaiian massage that works with opening the heart by using hands, breathing, rhythm and energy flow. Using the hands as an instrument of the heart, you can open up on all levels, let go of the old, and make room for new energy and love.

The Heartworks method is a very fluid and rhythmic treatment working on cleansing your lymphatic systems, relaxing both soft and deep tissues. Its therapeutic qualities help each individual in their present journey. Like any other massage modality, your physical body strengthens, and your mental state improves.

​The Heartworks lomi lomi method is a form of healing therapy that has its roots firmly planted in the intuitive and spiritual core of bodywork. Yvette’s 4-day workshops focus on the mind, body, and spirit, which makes the course, unlike most typical massage courses. Using the medium of touching from the heart and finding inner focus through meditation, we can heal ourselves, release the past and embrace the now with an open heart.

Training format
4-day 38 hour course held over 4 saturdays from 8:30am - 6:00pm:

The last day of training will be for clinical hours where we invite clients into the studio to practice our new skills on. Students will get feedback and an opportunity to set up a clinic space, with the support of a supervisor to hone their techniques across a variety of different body types.
